Utrecht University Catalogue
This catalogue offers access to the collections of the Utrecht University Library and the Open Universiteit Nederland. All students and employees of the HU can borrow, free of charge, at any of the libraries of the Utrecht University. For more information, see the Lending regulations.

Picarta - Access at the HU and from home with HU login
This system gives access to the NCC, OLC and WorldCat. 
NCC : in the Netherlands Central Catalogue you find bibliographical information and locations of about 14 million books and almost 500,000 magazines in more than 400 (public and university) libraries in the Netherlands. 
OLC : in the Online Contents you find references to almost 15.000 magazines covering all science fields. Besides scientific journals it contains general, populair scientific and popular magazines.
WorldCat: a combined catalogue of about 18,000 libraries world wide. The database contains records of big institutes such as the Library of Congress (VS), the National libraries of libraries of Great Britain, Finland, The Netherlands and Singapore, and also of small libraries, art museums and historical assocations. 
You can request publications or journal articles available at Picarta - costs are 3 euro per title. You can fill out a request form at any of the HU libary desks.
